Meet Dr. Klett

A relational approach to healing, grounded in psychodynamic therapy and contemporary neuroscience.

Dr. Kerry Klett, Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Her Story

Dr. Kerry Klett is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice. Throughout her career, she has remained deeply committed to understanding what truly helps people heal — not through rigid protocols, but through genuine connection and an evolving understanding of the brain.

Her early training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy gave her a deep appreciation for the power of early life experiences, the unconscious and the therapeutic relationship as the foundation of change. Over time, she has integrated contemporary neuroscience-informed interventions into her practice, recognizing that lasting healing often requires working not just with the mind, but with the brain and body as well.

This integration drives everything she does in practice today. Whether using neurofeedback to help a client's brain learn new patterns, Deep Brain Reorienting to process trauma that words can't easily reach, or traditional psychotherapy to build understanding and self-compassion, Dr. Klett tailors her approach to what each individual person needs.

Clinical Philosophy

Healing From theInside Out

We know from neuroscience research that trauma disrupts the senses and how we perceive the world. It changes the networks involved in sensory processing along with our ability to understand our environment and maintain a cohesive sense of self. We may see danger where there is safety and safety where there is danger. Constant hypervigilance leaves us exhausted from a nervous system that is always on high alert, can never rest and never truly feel safe.

In her work, Dr. Klett helps clients to develop a more organized brain, that is better capable of perceiving the world more accurately. With reduced anxious arousal the brain is better able to focus and understand what is going on around us. A brain that is capable of accurately perceiving the environment can respond effectively rather than reactively. This means fewer triggers, more energy, better sleep, clearer thinking and a greater capacity for connection.
